Lovely aroma, taste is great too. Lots of white wine, soft and leathery, oak. Light fizz. Great!

Bottle, at the brewery. Soft haze on a pale, yellow gold. Ring of white head. Nose has white grape must. Clean oak. Goat cheese funk. Notes of dessert apple skin. Floral honey. Vanilla. Taste is tart and dry, with a lovely honeyed sweetness. Clean and fairly dry on the palate. Fine carbonation. Light pucker of acidity. Light tartness on the finish, with the honey sweetness running throughout. Great stuff.

Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is intense, white grape. bit peppery, oaky. Funk is very mild. Taste is beautifully balanced, more to the wine side, but a nice acidity towards the end. Very fine carbonation, and a beautifull merge between (natural) wine and lambic. i enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would.

Bottle at the source. Blonde, slightly hazy beer with a quite lasting white head. Funky grapes, a bright citrus bite, some gooseberries, white currants. Quite dry and sweet at the same time. Softly vinous, like a spritzy natural wine. Elegant.

07-12-19 // 750ml bottle shared at the brewery with C. Unclear golden. White lacing. Dry funky nose. Quite sweet. But so soft and very well balanced. Not very sharp sour. Wine yes but soft.

75cl bottle @ Cantillon Brewery/Museum (visited 29/11/2019). F: big, white, average lasting. C: blonde, hazy. A: fruity, Cantillon funky, peach, grapes, barnyard, brett, white wine, gooseberries, floral, woody. T: medium body, mellow sour fruity, grapes, caramel touch, peach, gooseberries, not very sour, dry on the palate, woody, bit spicy, very nice as I expected, bit wheat, bready touch, medium carbonation, very good, fully enjoyed.

2 years old lambic aged on Chenin Blanc grapes from Olivier Lemasson for 3 months. A: usual white grape lambic look from Cantillon. Small white head. S: smell is very reminiscent of Vigneronne, very driven by the lambic taste with a fruity twist on the aftertaste. T:Taste follows but more focused on the wine. It's on the dry side, more reminiscent of Riesling or Pinot Gris to me than Loire Valley white wine. The grape probably needs a little bit of time to shine out. M: very dry with a soft carbonation. Easy drinking. O: another nice grape experiment from Cantillon. I find white grape lambic to be a little bit less spectacular than black grapes one but this beer is a very good example of the style.
