0.5l bottle as Staropramen Unfiltered. Hazy deep orange body, huge rocky foam. Aroma of bread, grains, floral hops, some metal and a hint of apples. Taste of bread, grains, hay and floral hops with a hint of cloves and apples. It’s nothing like a German hefeweizen (they sell it as a wheat beer in Hungary, so I thought it’s gonna be something like that). It’s closer to a kellerbier but not exactly that either. Anyhow, it’s OK.

Bottle. Pours hazy light yellow, with a big creamy head. Expecting a beautifully balanced, and even unfiltered, Czech pilsner, it was a massive letdown noting almost no pilsnerish aroma at all, with just light malty notes of bread. Instead what really sticks out here is notes of herbs and soap, as well as some phenolic notes. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with some cereals, and yet again notes of soap and herbs. Not really all bad, but still a massive disappointment.

zapach delikatny, ciężko wyczuwalny, lekko słodowy, lekko ziołowy, trochę jabłka, lekko przyciężkawy, trochę przypomina mocne lagery. nie jest nieprzyjemny, ale i nie jest przyjemny.kolor złoty, głęboki (może jasny bursztyn), mocno zmętniony. równomierna, niewidoczna zawiesina, bez drobin. piana obfita, biała, łatwo się tworzy, dość długotrwała, drobna i bardzo ładna, ładnie koronkuje. w smaku dość pełne, słodowe, lekko słodkawe (jak z jabłka) i lekko pikantne? coś w nim gryzie, trochę jakby było mocno nieułożone. goryczka niska, roślinna z odrobiną ziół, z początku jej nie czuć, potem dość długo osadza się w ustach. nasycenie wysokie. samo piwo średnio udane, wygląd zdecydowanie największym atutem.

Aromat: estry(jabłko), kolendra i chyba tyle. Barwa: złote, mętne. Piana: biała, średnia, szybko się dziurawi opadając prawie do zera, bez zdobienia szkła. Smak: wytrawne, cierpkie, jakbym pił cydr z kolndrą i w tle jakby goździki. Goryczki praktycznie brak. Dziwne piwo ciężko zakwalifikować do konkretnego stylu, nie ma za bardzo na czym się wzorować. Mocno schłodzone może pełnić rolę napoju alkoholowego gaszącego pragnienie ale jako piwo to nie moja bajka.

Yellow/orange color, a bit hazy, with a medium white head. Smell is malt, straw, some hops. The taste is sweetish with malt, straw, hops, even some bready notes. Low hoppiness. I didn’t feel the coriander and the apple they write. Strange beer, I didn’t like it much.

Das Staropramen Nefiltrovaný (Ležak) wurde umbenannt, ist aber das gleiche Bier geblieben. So soll auf die Zugabe von Weizenmalz hingewiesen werden. Es ist schön mild-süffig und erfreut mit einer netten Bandbreite an malzigen und fruchtigen Aromen. Wenn man sich au das Weizenmalz konzentriert, mag man auch etwas Banane spüren. Ein tolles Bier, nicht nur für Leute, die ein mildes Bier suchen.

dark yellow, cloudy color. white fine head. smells of grain, some yeast, light roast aroma. medium body, taste of grains and also roasted grains, light sweetness but overall more bitterness. smooth but boring.

0,33l bottle. Quite ok head with fast retention. Straw colored liquid, very cloudy. Surprising hops aroma right after opening the bottle. Strong wheat malts aromas (fruity and yeasty hints). Slight paper scent. Average, pleasant bitterness. Sweetness is rather in the background. Low to medium body, slick texture. It’s a surprisingly good beer. Nothing mind blowing, but it’s drinkable.
