Bottle. Color: Very hazy golden yellow. Dense white head. Taste: Medium body, medium hopbitter, sweet malts, yeast, hints of citrus. Medium carbonation. Nice refreshing beer on a warm day, but not that special.

3/XII/15 - 50cl bottle @ home - BB: 5/I/16 (2015-1679) Thanks to Marie for the bottle!
Little cloudy beige beer, creamy irregular white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of grains, rural, hay, bit grassy, herbal. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit herbal, nice bitterness, fruity touch, some citrus. Aftertaste: bitter, herbal, bit malty, grains, fruity touch. Absolutely clueless why they would spice this up. It ends up tasting like a pilsener (ok, lezak), anyway...

(Bottle, as "Staropramen Unfiltered") Cloudy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with crisp-bread, honey, a touch of citrus, some wheat, green apples and vegetables. Malty taste with notes of bread, hay, honey, some citrus, boiled vegetables and a mild bitterness. Medium body, fairly dry. Bland and harmless with a slight wheat character. Drinkable.

BOTTLE 50 CL as Staropramen Unfiltered. Murky golden-amber, smallish white head. Dusty grains in the nose, some dirty kegs, rotten veggies, esters. Taste: grainy, dry and harsh, unpleasant phenolic bitterness in the finish. Drain pour.

0.5l bottle as Staropramen Unfiltered. Hazy deep orange body, huge rocky foam. Aroma of bread, grains, floral hops, some metal and a hint of apples. Taste of bread, grains, hay and floral hops with a hint of cloves and apples. It’s nothing like a German hefeweizen (they sell it as a wheat beer in Hungary, so I thought it’s gonna be something like that). It’s closer to a kellerbier but not exactly that either. Anyhow, it’s OK.
