Canned 440ml. -at Hopaholic Budapest. Pitch black coloured, small brownish head, coconut and vanilla in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, coconut, vanilla, cinnamon, light marzipan and touch of alcohol with sweet and spicy finish.

Can. Black. Cocos and chocolate in the aroma. Bounty bar. Full bodied. Thick mouthfeel. Bounty Puur bar, cacao. Soft spicy notes. Decent.

5 July 2019. At Dok Brewing Festival. Cheers to Anke & Ghent beer crew! Hazy black, thick, slowly thinning, foamy, dark beige head. Aroma of vanilla, cream, milk chocolate, praliné, hazelnut, 'Nesquik', biscuit, coffee liqueur, chocolate sauce. Taste is medium to heavy malty sweet, very chocolatey indeed, creamy, touches of vanilla & biscuit, bitter coffee & toast for balance, some black pepper, umami soy & vague dark fruits. Dryish, toasty, peppery hoppy finish, bordering on soft chili burn, lingering chocolate & vanilla, nicely warming coffee liqueur alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very strong yet not even exaggerated in its chocolate character.

(Draught at Foeders, Amsterdam, 15 Feb 2019) Black colour with brief, foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread and a touch of cinnamon. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, dark chocolate, roasted grain, soy sauce, cinnamon, vanilla, a touch of chilli and a generous coffee/cacao bitterness. Full body, oily mouthfeel. Quite sweet. Not really balanced, all over the place and fairly strong. But very tasty. Nice one.

Can (canning date 11/2018, enjoyed 08/2019). Pours a black colour with no head, but it's possible the glass was a bit greasy... Aroma's: sweet, cinnamon, vanilla (vla), milk chocolate, chili. Retronasal follows this mostly and has a little peadrops. Flavour is light heavy sweet, very chocolatey and little roast. The chili does its work on the tongue, but it's never overly hot and not at all lingering. Almost full bodied. Fairly low carbonation. Finish is somewhat roasty.

deep dark Brown colour, moderate sized dense beige head; aroma of chocolate, coconut, slight chili and cinnamon, as well as prune notes; taste is more intensive than the aroma with dark chocolate, (mildly burnt)coconut, cinnamon, prune made from unripe plum, some clove and pecan nuts, as well as chili pepper mainly in the aftertaste; great Imperial stout!

Can 440ml. @ home.[ As De Moersleutel Aztec Hot Chocolate ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet chocolate, coconut, spicy, vanilla, cinnamon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet chocolate, chocolate, dark malt, spicy, sweet malt, vanilla, cinnamon.
