Pours deep gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Pumpkin and ginger aromas. Sharp with pumpkin and cinnamon front to back. Dry, abrupt nutty finish.

16.9 oz. bottle purchased at Cigarette City, Seabrook. Light amber gold color, no head aroma is fall spice and yeast, mild nuts.
The flavor is more of a fall spiced beer, Chestnuts is like pretty big base of the brew. “Chestnuts on an open fire… Jack frost nipping at your nose?” I would never call this a saison because the yeast is totally hidden. Body is lighter side of medium with a nutty finish. Overall, a nice fall beer.

Tis is a burnt brown with slight orange color just a small half finger white head. The aroma is very herbal. Clove, walnut, pepper, good yeast presence. You do for sure get roasted chestnut flavor. it’s absolutely perfect. Sweet, sugary, good nutty taste with a nice yeasty finish.

Bottle from a Lazy Dog slightly hazy light golden color with a decent sized white head. Light fruitiness, honey like maltiness, liberal spicing and plenty of rustic earthy yeasty aromas and flavor. Can’t say I pick out any chestnut or nuttiness, and the spicing is a bit heavy handed for my tastes. Does have a certain wintery feel to it though.

Bottle pour into tulip glass from the source. Appearance is hazy orange-yellow-light brown with champagne-like sparkle, finger-width ring of white foamy head and mild lacing. Aroma is mild fruity esters, Belgian champagne-like yeast, spiciness. Taste is a bit stronger sweet fruity ester than aroma, Belgian yeast, spices. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with average to lively carbonation, with sweet/yeasty balanced finish. Overall, a nice saison.
