De Rockin’ Rudy is een ale in de stijl van een Belgian Ale. Echter is er wat tarwemout toegevoegd wat het een mooi licht zuurtje geeft. Bij het inschenken kleurt hij licht oranje in het glas en heeft een fijne schuimkraag. In de neus ruik je bloemige aroma’s en smaaktonen van steranijs en gember.

Fles 33cl thuis. Bloemig, gembertonen, klein zuurtje, wat Belgisch gist, steranijs op achtergrond, lichte bittertonen, redelijk koolzuur. (4-5-2023).

Bottle 33cl. from Boerenjongens, Amsterdam @home poured into a tulip glass. Slightly sourish nose. Hazy pale amber colour, tall frohy white head, good retention, good lacing. Sourish aroma, pale malts, ginger, light anis, lemon, yeast. Taste medium bitter, light sweet and sour, malty, spices, mineral notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, long dry sour and bittersweet aftertaste, spicy and mineral notes, quite fresh, out of the ordinary, very nice.
