1/5/2023. Bottle from Beerdome online store, shared at SBGP2. Pours black with a small frothy tan coloured head. Aroma is waxy, tonka bean, cinnamon, biscuit, cocoa, plasticine. Moderate sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Full bodied, creamy slick mouthfeel, soft carbonation.

Bottled@AIH147. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is tonka beans (coconut), liquorice and alcohol. Super tonka. Flavour is tonka beans, cocoa, some alcohol and mild wooden and spicy tones. Lovely. Kind of easy going, but lovely.

Frothy brown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy strong vanilla a/tonka aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Tonka notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

330mL can sampled at Weathered 2023, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with cinnamon, tonka, cocoa, and vanilla. Flavour is rich, with lots of cinnamon and tonal upfront, followed by cocoa and burnt sugars. All that baking spice somehow works. Tasty pastry.

Poured from 330mL can. Black with tan head. Tonka and cinnamon dominate with underlying vanilla and lactose with a hint of licorice. Not especially depth-ful, but good for what it is.

Can from Legacy. Basically black. Not much head. Aroma goes big on tonka, cinnamon and chocolate. I'm okay with that. Big, rich. Mellow boozy barrel that rounds out the intense sugars, the fat coconut and the assertive tonka bean. Good balance for an over-the-top beer.

33 cl can @ Kissasauna. Batch #404, BBE 24.09.2024 Aroma has sweet ccooa tones and molasses. Flavour has alcohol, molasses, sweet cocoa tones, some licorice. Typical, yet balanced pastry. Good slow sipper.
