More booze and more spice for even more nice. This is our Tripel with distinct flavors of clove and banana from the yeast, and noble hops for a fully rounded Christmas ale.

Bottle from club drop and from advent calendar, cheers. Drunk while having a very late dinner of duroc chops and spinach. Nose is quite mild, hints of caramel and malt. Rather sweet on the tongue, not really too complex, there's a hint of some Christmassy spices and some yeast esters. A bit mild for a beer approaching 9 percent. Tasty with these pork chops though, and it gained another point after warming up in the glass.

Bottle as part of Loz’s advent calendar from To Old Webshop, Denmark, Thursday 2nd December 2021, we have Salmon and Cream Cheese Stuffed Pasta Shells for tea, listening to Steve Lamar’s Evening Session on 6 Music. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Fruity, sweet and with a little warmth, there is an undercurrent of spice and yeast. It’s pretty good.

bottle from julekalender. clear orange, smooth offwhite to orange head. mild aroma, toffee, although mild it comes off as a very malty tripel. flavor is boozy-malty-belgian mild light butter-caramel a little bitter and sweet fruits, a little belgian yeast.. very mild and non-agressive belgian, you almost don't notice, not very wild. warming alcohol. In the end a quite unconventionally smooth belgian with a very nice malty and caramelly flavor, quite complex, but mild. pretty good sipper, but a lot different than what I would have expected from a beer called tripel. (although tripel is normally all over the place anyways). I would probably call this just a belgian strong ale.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of fruit, Belgian yeast, malt, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit, Belgian yeast, candy sugar, and malt, leading to a dry finish.

Botle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a small, white head. Slightly perfumy nose - my guess is a heavy load of coriander, although the label mentions nothing. Rich sweet fruity body, sugary sweet, some Belgian yeast and again coriander. You can literally taste the alcohol in this. Hardly any hops to balance the sugar overdose. A bit cloying. I'd recommend to drink very cold. 240921
