Bottle from Garsons Farm Shop, West End. Aroma is light - malt, sawdust, a hint of sourness. Clear amber. Foamy translucent white head soon almost entirely disappears. Light-medium bitter. Resin and quinine. Ephemeral tart stone fruit. Underlying cardboard and buttery popcorn somewhere in the mix. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average prickly carbonation. Long dry finish. Maintains a certain amount of bitterness to keep me from nodding off but ultimately one-dimensional and a waste of calories.

Bottle from Redh. Appearance - golden with a crey white head. Nose - malt loaf and lemon. Taste - dry biscuit and lemon. Palate - light bodied, dry malt and hop finish. Overall - not bad, considering the style.
