JAN-2020. Barch 3 (Nelson Sauvin?). Hazy bright yellow, pillowy white head. Smells of bright pale fruit - white grapefruit, pomelo, pineapple. Also quite doughy / yeasty, and has a slight sauerkraut / brine note too. The taste is gentle fruity malts, maybe some vague not very sweet or aromatic white grapes, with very little perceivable sweetness, soft pithy citrus bitterness. Crisp, well carbonated. Dry enough, but not too harsh - no sharpness or alcohol in the finish. Maybe a bit too thin. Very good, overall. 3,7/5.
SEP-2019. Batch 2 (Hallertau Blanc). Hazy pale straw, creamy white head. Smells of citrus pulp and pith, as well clear spicy herbal notes. The taste is really dry indeed, though still has some fruity notes. Sharp pithy, maybe slightly boozy, bitterness. Some doughy yeast is a bit of a fly in the ointment, still... A great dry IPA. 3,8/5.
MAY-2019. Batch 1. Hazy palest straw, white head. Bold pineapple, white grapefruit zest and pith and even some pulp. As it warms up, some fruit sugars pop out. Bread and dough. Does not smell very brut. The taste, on the other hand is pretty low on sugars, still has quite a bit of pale fruit notes - mostly pineapple / white grapefruit, firm zesty bitterness. Soft mouthfeel. Yeasty. 3,8/5.
