bottle, traded with wastl. Chestnut-brown colour, large off-white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, fruity, intensively malyt with hints of raisins, yeast and wheaty.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also, nice head. Darker than exspected. Starts dry, modest yeasty, not very fruity. The finish is a bit moldy and scratchy. Strange, but good weizenbock!

Draught @ Held Bräu, Ahorntal-Oberailsfeld, Oberfranken/Bayern, Germany. Hazy medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wheat, moderate yeasty, banana, toffee, light light citrus - resin tartness. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter (citrus fruit shell bitterness) with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (210308)

Leicht malziger Antrunk, der erst spät stärker wird. Daneben ist ein herber Ton führend, auch dies wird erst im Laufe der Zeit stärker, spielt aber doch im Abgang kaum noch eine Rolle. Neben der fast laschen Malzigkeit sind auch weitere Aromen eher rar gesäht und schaffen so ein Weizenbock, der die typischen Eigenschaften eiegntlich ncht vertritt. Nicht sehr würzig, eigentlich schon süffig, ich vermisse hier den Bock im Weizen! Test vom 25.1.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,7,9,6,12,7 - 7,90
