Draught, Darby's. Hazy, light tan. Medium, bubbly head. Massive butter-rum candy aroma, with citrusy hop notes, and burly alcohol. Smells alternately like rum dessert and a cheap rum drink. Same dichotomous stuff on the palate. Sweet and bitter, rich and citrusy. These elements are definitely a bit clashy. All the while, strong alcohol and a fair bit of clean pale malt are noted. It's not bad but I don't think it ever comes together for me.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is really boozy, floral, wood, lemon Pledge, super glue, candy corn, coconut. Pours hazy orange with a thick long-lasting bone-white head, leaving behind curtains of lace. Taste is moderately to highly sweet with boozy coconut, candy corn, pineapple, licorice and citrus peel flavors. Barleywine-ish. Boozy to a fault, but it's not as bad as its ratings would suggest.

Glass at Darby's Gastown on Halloween party with Christina and her friends. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is very weird with some chemical and super glue notes. Similar taste. WTF?!!!

Bottled 355ml (Alko web)
Amber colour, small steady white head. Sweet, boozy aroma of rhum. Medium-bodied. Sweet and boozy with lots of rhum flavour. Finish has some fruits, grapes, oak. A bit thin and quite alcoholic. Rhum is overpowering the hops.

12 oz. bottle. Aroma of grain alcohol, rum, and toffee candy. Ok, I know taste is a personal preference but this is nothing but rum. I can not find hops or anything other than rum or toffee.

This quite easily the biggest swing and a miss from Founders I have ever sampled. This ranks with Mango Magnifico as low level of enjoyment.

Bottle from Village Beer Merchant. Golden. Smells medicinal, grapefruit, alcohol, glue. Fl the same, with vanilla, wood, tropical fruits. Boozy, weird combination. Terrible.
