I am normally a big fan of rum cask beers. This one is no exception. Solid powerful beer. Excellent evening sipper. Rum cask, raisins, toffee, tropical, resinous and hoppy. One more please. Sweet, but not over the top. Oily texture.

12 oz bottle. Pours a copper color with light head. Aromas of fruity liquor. Underlying flavors of sweet malts, dank hops and toffee overshadowed by too much rum. A case of too much barrel.

0,355 l bottle from Beer Supreme, Oldenburg. Unclear red golden in the glass with a nearly two finger foamy head. Rum smell with some malt. Taste has a lot. Rum, malt, fruity hop and honey but also hints of burnt plastic. Strong stuff. Overpowered alcoholic. Smells way better than it´s taste.

On tap at One Mile House. Pours orange brown. Rum, toffee, orange peel, grapefruit, caramel, biscuit. Good body. Very boozy aroma but a slightly more nuanced flavour. Decent.

Bottle. Golden orange pour. Aroma of sweet pineapple, vanilla, caramel, bready malt, coconut and passion fruit. Taste has sweet pineapple, coconut, caramel, bready malt, oak, rum, raisin, mosaic hops, vanilla and a smooth tropical finish. I don't get any of the glue like alcohol flavors I read about in some other reviews. This is very balanced and softly smooth in flavor. Creative and very tasty.

Draught @ Zeezicht, Breda. Clear orangy color, huge sized white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is weird and the only thing I get is alcohol / liquor. Flavor confirms that imo. That is not good. Not good at all. Tastes (Dutch) "als spiritus ruikt, dikke alcohol shit". Very alcoholic and to be honest I'm reminded of paint or nailpolish remover. Very bad, yuk! 2-4-3-3-3.

Draught at Darby's Gastown, Vancouver
Cloudy golden colour. Medium body, light sweetness, mild underlying beer characteristics; everything is mostly overpowered by very strong run notes, demerara sugar, spiced rum (this is not a good thing). Boozy.
Weird. Over the top.
