Van origine een Engels “home made” bier. De donkere mout was thuis makkelijker te maken boven een open vuur dan de lichte mouten. Vroeger razend populair onder kruiers van rivierschepen in Londen, vandaar de naam Porter. Bjuster geeft er een moderne, Friese twist aan.

Bottle shared. Almost black with huge fluffy beige head. Cocoa, dry woody notes, ash, aromatic sugar but just the aroma and not the sweetness, coffee. Under medium sweet, light bitter. Over light bodied with a lot of carbonation. Overcarbonated, but otherwise quite nice.
