De derde collaboration van Fortbrouwerij Duits & Lauret en Brouwerij De Leckere. Een zwaar en volmondig bier gebrouwen met donkere mouten en Amerikaanse bosbessen. die doet denken aan een bosbessenbanket; zacht en lichtzoet met tonen van chocola. Het bier is aan het eind van de lagering bourbon infused. Dit geeft het bier extra bite en zorgt voor een intense smaakbeleving. Kortom, een geestverruimende smaak en een stevig percentage alcohol van 10.5%.

Bottle at Stadscafé Amersfoort. Roasty aroma with blueberries, some chocolate and a touch of liquorice. Hint of infused bourbon, but very subtle. Medium sweet with a decent bitterness. Medium to full body. Hardly a sign of the 10%. Pretty good.

Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is malt, roast, vanilla. Taste is malt, roast, vanilla, light bitter. not much else. quite boring to be honest.

Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is berries, chocolate, a bit grainy. Taste is raisins, mild chocolate, prunes, but quite dry, a bit grainy too. Chewy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Alright.

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een bruin schuim. Het heeft een zoete caramel achtige geur. De smaak is zoet en fruitig met tonen van bessen.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg.
Black with a beige head. Dark caramel, sweet coffee and blue berry aroma. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. oddly light bodied for such a heavy beer.
