Lovely pale ale, a wonderful mix of fruity El Dorado notes and easygoing cracker malts. Peach-watermelon on the front leads to an herbal, citrus-tinged finish, while the slight crackery dryness offers a nice balance. Love the lack of sweetness, love the depth of flavor accented but not dominated the hops. Why would you ever drink a session IPA when there's a tiny beautiful something? Frickin' delicious pint.

Botttle from Cap Tap. Pours copper tinged gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is very orange. Med body. Flavor is very orange that's rather orange zest. Must be a lot of hop in it. It's well towards dry, has discernible roasty malt, and it's strikingly bitter. Sort of NW, but no harshness despite the zest. Good stuff indeed.

Bottle. A- Soapy, lemon, mild lavender, citrus. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Citrus, mild bitterness, soapy. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- The first of 6 Maine beers tonight. Never thought I'd have a Maine night but when you have a friend who loves hoppy beers you surprise him with it. Not bad. Name sounds more like a saison to me. Pretty muted pale ale but balanced. Okay.

Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow, with rather smallish head. Aroma is rather grassy, with some citrus and pine/spruce hop elements. Flavor also quite grassy, with a bitter, pine/spruce finish. Very nice, simple, spartan beer.

Thnx to Ben. Pours unclear blonde. Small to nearly no white head. Smell is funky herbal aromatic. Clean and crisp. Taste is sharp, medium high bitter, herbal, fresh and zesty hoparoma. Crisp maltyness. Very nice pale ale.
