Pours a clear dark brown, almost black with a small, fizzy, short lived, light brown head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet, spicy aroma of chocolate malt, cherry, cinnamon, vanilla and almond. Sweet flavour of chocolate malt, caramel, lactose, cherry, licorice, vanilla, cinnamon, raisin, almond and light coffee in a sweet, mild boozy finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Delicious, nice complexity. Would make a great Christmas dessert beer.
