Black Lager
A German-style dark lager with moderate malt character, somewhere between the malt character of an American dark lager and a Munich dunkel. It is the darkest and often the most roasty of the dark lager styles. While the roast flavor is more apparent in this dark lager than others, it is still not the intense roast, burnt, or acrid flavor that you often find in stouts and some porters.

473ml can. Pours an almost clear dark brown with red hue and a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that laces. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and faint nuts. Semi-sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, day-old coffee, ash, earth and nuts in a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Flavourful and well made.
