This beer was born 4 years ago as a one-off test-a test to see how we could make a kettle sour and a test to see if people would dig it. Turns out that both were true and we’ve had it available full-time since then. In that time we’ve done 13 different versions and from the first batch to now just about everything that can be tested and changed with the beer has been.
We’re talking custom brewhouse modifications (which are now standard If you buy a new brewhouse from our manufacturer); hops from Canada, the US, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and Czechia; piping and process changes; grist, lacto cultures and hop rate changes; centrifuging and CO2 blanketing; the introduction of double-dry hopping; super-souring; using experimental and (now) failed hops; and in this version, a tallboy can.
This will be the last temporary version before it will become a permanent member of our beer team. We hope you‘ve enjoyed the journey until now and we hope you love the culmination of all our testing and changing with this-the final test batch.

Cloudy yellow gold with a rich white head. Bright melon and lime. Light soured lime and not much else. Clean but a bit boring.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy straw colour with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma of grainy wheat, passion fruit, lemon and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat, lime, indistinct tropical fruit, floral and bitter grass in a crisp, dry, acidic, sour finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and easy to drink. Nicely done.
