Until 1872 the use of wheat in beers was reserved exclusively for the Bavarian royal family. Keeping with Bavarian tradition we created our rendition on this German specialty and named it accordingly for the high fliers of todays world. This beer is not just reserved for royalty and should be enjoyed by the kings and queens of the campsite during the summer months or after a hard day’s grind with friends. Delta’s Highflier Hefeweizen is naturally cloudy, exceptionally smooth and virtually no bitterness. Banana, clove and bubble gum aromas dominate and when poured should appear with a bright white head on top.

On tap. Pours a hazy gold-yellow with a medium, creamy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Mild, sweet aroma of grainy wheat malt, banana, yeast and faint clove. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat malt, red apple, bubble gum and spicy clove in a dry finish. Light body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Pretty simple, but refreshing and easy to drink.
