We’re drawing a line in the sand. On one side, you’ll find traditions and conventions, rule books and old recipes. On this side, we want people who enjoy good beer from a small brewery that’s carving out a corner of the city and declaring autonomy. That’s the spirit if this North American reinvention of the English Bitter, it’s nutty and breast with notes of caramel and citrus. Because it’s easy to be bitter. It’s better to do something about it.

650ml bottle. Pours a clear copper with a medium, creamy, long lasting, ecru head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of toasted malt, biscuit, caramel, toffee, citrus hops and nuts. Sweet flavour of toasted malt, bread, caramel, toffee, orange flesh and nuts with a dry, bitter grass finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Very pleasant and enjoyable.
