Up before the dawn to farm the mighty Atlantic, those who live along our Eastern coast have the privilege of experiencing the first rays of every Canadian sunrise. Big Rock’s Oyster Stout celebrates that intimate relationship with the very edge of what it means to be Canadian. A hint of brine & buttery oyster smoothness mixes through the black Atlantic depths of coffee and salted dark chocolate notes.

Pretty standard big rock beer, mild in every sense. Not overly flavourful, but clean and drinkable.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with reddish hue and a medium, frothy, long lasting, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of chocolate malt, caramel, roast and a faint briny note. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate and light brininess with a dry, ashy, bitter coffee finish. Light to medium body with a thin texture and average carbonation.
