2016 vintage, 355ml bottle. (11.8% ABV) Pours a clear medium amber with a thin, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, toffee, vanilla, bourbon and oak. Sweet flavour of bourbon, caramel malt, toffee, spice, vanilla and oak with an alcohol burn in a dry finish. Full body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. On par with but not better than the original. The bourbon dominates this beer, needs to be more subtle.
