This is our first ever anniversary beer. It more rightfully is our first beer of gratitude to you. It’s been an incredible year for all of us and we - sincerely - could not have done it without all the help along the way. Thank you.
We brewed this Belgian style beer with a North American touch: we upped the bitterness a hair to help with the balance and finish and dry-hopped with one of our favourite aroma hops - Amarillo. This is a dry, effervescent pale ale with some ester-y fruitiness from both the Duvel yeast, which did the grunt work and the French Saison yeast which finished it.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy pale gold with a large, fluffy, long lasting, white head that leaves plenty of lace. Aroma of Belgian yeast, pale malt, lemon, orange and light peach. Sweet flavour of pale malt, yeast, orange, lemon, peach, apricot, pineapple and alcohol with a dry, bitter, spicy finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Very nice, easily their best offering to date.

On tap. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a thin, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of Belgian yeast, lemon, overripe fruit and alcohol. Sweet flavour of Belgian yeast, overripe fruit, lemon and alcohol with a dry, slightly tart finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A solid brew.
