In this Unique Brew recipe, Brewmaster Matt Dean used only Canadian Superior Pale Ale malt and only Chinook hops to create a surprisingly rich and interesting Northwest style Pale Ale..
It’s a perfect harmony of malt and hop characteristics with the Chinook hops lending a piney, spiciness, with hints of grapefruit to the smooth and flavourful superior pale ale malt.
We hope you enjoy this simple yet outstandingly delicious brew!

946ml bottle. Pours a clear orange-yellow with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves plenty of lace. Mild aroma of grainy malt with citrus and light pine. Sweet flavour of biscuit malt, grapefruit and pine with a bitter grass finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Not bad, just boring.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Golden color, clean. Some cereal aroma, the mouthfeel is dry, some malt/cereal/caramel flavor, no hop quality, and chicory bitterness in the final.
Uninteresting at best; but the pithy bitterness is really disturbing.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp biscuity malt and very light hoppiness. Flavour is quite vegetal and off-putting - tons of herbal, vegetal hops dominating. Very off-putting and slightly offensive. Crap.
