Bottle: Clear, derp golden, mid-sized stable off-white head; nearly moderate dryish herbal to medical nose, malt and fruits-as usual underneath; bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light bodied - absolutely not thin; slightly lingering soft medical bitter finish, balancing malt detectable as expected. Surely not exciting, but pretty decentโฆ

A brown beer with a medium and blond head. The nose has toffeeish malts, lemon, wood and some nuts. Taste of toffee and wood, fresh enough, hint of lemon, the end is slightly musty. Light+ bodied, medium carbonation. Toffee and wood with some lemon, quite fresh.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, deep golden colour with a blond and firm mid-sized foamy head. Doughy and delicately biscuity malty aroma with a tinge of caramel and spicy, slightly woody hoppy notes. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, surprisingly well-bodied for a brew of 4.0% abv. Earthy, slightly biscuity malty taste with hints of caramel, backed by spicy and slightly juicy fruity hops, accompanied by delicately woody accents towards the finish. Nice. 05.VI.14

Pours a clear, slightly coppery color with small white head. There is a mild malts aroma, also some fruits and a tiny addition of alcohol aroma. The taste is sweet, fruity with some little bitterness towards the end. Nice and drinkable, but nothing special.

On tap @ the Raeburn Hotel. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - grassy/herby with a bran biscuit background. Taste - citrus and grassiness. Again there is a biscuit thing going on behind it. Palate - light to medium bodied with a light creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a decent pint alright, though not sure it makes me think American Pale Ale. Works well as an English pale ale though.
