Can from Mr. Hop, drunk after mediocre sushi in Unterhaching at a new place. Everyone in the family smells like a fryolator, especially those with long hair. This beer makes me forget that weird experience. Beautiful hop widget pour, perfect firm nitro head. Roasted grain and fresh malt, hops on the nose. Smooth roasted flavor, mild dark-maltiness but mostly dry. Great balance with earthy hop notes and a bit of acidity. Very tasty stout!

Can shared at home w the boys.

Foam in the colour of cappuccino, creamy and persistent. Brown-black colour, opaque. Coffee on the nose, roasted malt, light nuttiness, creamy on the palate, coffee, dark chocolate, light vanilla with light smoky notes, medium body, flat saturation, moderate bitterness. Very, very good.

Darkest brown. Aroma is much on the mushroom side. Light bitter slightly stale with light sourness. Rather umami. Not too shabby.

Creamy, lightly smoky, soft roast, hints of coffee, cocoa and vanilla. Silky smooth, soft and surprisingly refreshing.

Lattina.

Tasted at the Peterborough Beer and Cider Festival 2024 with Grumbo and ITFCDan. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, cocoa, chocolate and molasses. Decent to thin body with a biter finish.

Pouring gives the familiar nitro / Guinness effect. Settles quicker than Guinness though with a larger 3cm head. Dark malts on the nose, slight cocoa notes, dark toasted bread. Lovely smooth head while drinking. A good bit more body and slightly sweeter than Guinness, oilier, thicker. Nice lingering medium bitterness. Darkly toasted bread taste. Lovely, great alternative.

Can from Kaufland Poljička, Split, shared with heavy. Very dark brown body, thick off-white head. Creamy aroma, raisins, chocolate, coffee, lightly toasty. Light, dry taste, bit roasty, bit toasty, bit yeasty somehow, empty... Okay at best really, but more drinkable than the Nitro Irish Red at least.
