Tap at the Canalhouse, Nottingham. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt and big chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, chocolate, liqourice, orange palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation and a lingering liqourice bitter finish.
