A variant of Throughline Blueberry (2020), our solera series of mixed culture golden sours aged on blueberries. This portion of the batch was transferred into a Two James rye barrel to age for an additional 16 months before bottle conditioning with champagne yeast

Bottle shared at Your Old Droog Cellar Blast. Pours a clearish ruby with a finger of pinkish / off-white foam that lingers. Lovely aromas of blueberry skin and seed with funk and oak as it warms. A touch of vanilla on the palate but blueberry flesh and skin are the star. Mild oak and blueberry on the finish. Very good.
