Very light clear yellow body and good puffy foam. Spicy wheat grain on the nose, maybe some soft hops, slightly sweet and very inviting. Taste is chewy grain, slight pepper, a bit of cereal and banana. Finishes dry yet refreshing. Very nice, a little simple but quite delicious.

On tap at Herald Street, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out some earthy notes from the saison yeast and subdued citrusy hop tanginess. Flavour is much the same, with a rustic, earthy saison yeast character, accentuated by the NZ hop tanginess. A bit rough and lacking cohesion, but it's reasonably constructed. Okay.
