Framrood is our spontaneously fermented beer adhering to the Methode Lambic standard. It was aged for 18-24 months in French oak barrels and then re-fermented with two pounds per gallon of red raspberries for 3 months.

Draught @ MBCC '17 [ Blue Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Copenhagen Celebration 2017, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Funk Factory / O'so Framrood ].Unclear medium pink red colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, barnyard, leather, tart, raspberry, sour, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a long duration, tart, raspberry, dry, wood, funky, initial medicin - plastic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle. Pours a cloudy earthy red with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a great sour raspberry note with a touch of oak and acid backing. Flavor has sour and acidic raspberry with oak notes supporting.

Bottle. Pours hazy candy apple red, minimal bubbly white head, hints of lacing. Aroma is quite funky, basement, raspberries, stems, hints of sulphur. Flavor is light tart, medium funk, berries’nuff funk. Medium body, low carbonation. Quite nice.

Draught at MBCC blue session. Filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass, misty reddish body. Rich mid-dry berry skins on the nose. Taste of brett, berry tartness and cheese. Lingering mid-tart finish. Refreshing. (Copenhagen 12.05.2017).
