Black with creamy head. Aroma and flavour are certainly packed with sweet adjuncts. Mostly vanilla and caramel.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured a clear, almost black colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt and maple syrup. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, roasty, light maple syrup, light liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can from the brewery online shop. Appearance - deep brown to black. Beige crema head. Nose - nutty and light maple sweetness. Dark chocolate. Taste - dark chocolate and sweet maple, almost raisin and an edge or pancake and nuttiness. Palate - medium bodied, creamy and roasty. Perhaps just needs a touch more body. Overall - very nice.
