Bottle from Nisa Local, Upper Beeding. A lively one. Had to do some mopping up before I could start it. Aroma is smokey. Tar. Sweet dark fruit. Clear chestnut. Foamy translucent white head. The flava is less interesting than the aroma. Sour bitter smoke and sour berries. But not particularly amped up. Develops marmalade fruit and spice. Light bodied. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Enjoyable without stretching its legs.

Gravicask at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival '22, Marquee Bar. Shared with Finn. Bubbles on the surface of a hazy amber body, patchy lacing. Moderate smell; mid-sweet malty nose, smoked, and ripe fruits. Malt-fruity flavours, dried fruits, earth, and slightly smoked malts. Rounded hop fruity ending, dry. Fair enough. (Nottingham 13.20.2022).

Gravity cask at EBF23, 24/03/16. Golden amber with a decent off white head. Nose is light spice, faint smoked malts, toffee, dark fruit rip. Taste comprises light smoke, toasted grain, straw, caramel, brown bread. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.
