Can from Beer52. Near black pour with small beige head. Roasted malt and chocolate comes through with vanilla, lactose and something resembling rocky road confectionary. Its reasonable but a few too many adjuncts in this one.

Black, small tan head. Strange aroma, varnish, barrel, oak. Fruity taste, port, whisky, milk. Sweet.

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter fløte, kakao, karamellfudge og mørk sjokolade. Middels fylde. Smaker kaffe, kakao og fløte. Middels lang.

Drukket på Bergstua. Svart. Lavt bobleskum med litt farge. Blir raskt film. Vaniljearoma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken kakao, mere vanilje & kaker. Hint av sjokolade i en lett tørr avslutning. Lite spennende.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Clingy lacing from a dissipating fawn-coloured head. black in the glass. Grainy chocolate nose, sweet and mildly perfumed. Blended taste profile of cocoa-chocolate, bread, and quite a strong impact of milk lactose. Vanilla sweetness to a malt-driven ending. Has got some decent drinking moments, but far from great. (Tromsø 14.04.2022).

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Distinct sweetish aroma of lactose, vanilla, marshmallows, cocoa / chocolate, caramel. Sweet flavour (but not quite as sickly sweet as I feared), with the same elements as the aroma. Minimal hops. Not bad at all, but hardly a beer I'll bother to buy again.

440ml can. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of vanilla/tonka, chocolate, toasted marshmallows. Taste is sweet, milk chocolate, tonka, vanilla, toasted marshmallows, milky. Medium bodied. The Beer52 (330ml) version has really tanked this beer's rating.

Black beer, very little head. Smells a little of tonka, with chocolate and vanilla. Flavour has cocoa, vanilla, malt, lactose. Decent body, very drinkable.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A black coffee coloured pour with a thin rim of tan head; aroma of chocolate syrup and vanilla; very sweet in the mouth with vanilla essence to start; then drier with well roasted malts and some fruity coffee, with lingering cherry and almond. A confusing combination of flavours, but it sort of grows on you.
