On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Clear copper body, solid lasting white top. Nose is ripe forest fruits, berries and some caramel. Taste is spicy up front, with the fruitiness coming through and a hint of floralicity (my personal word) making it quite fresh overall. Nice.

Cask at Old Bell, Derby. Pours a dark copper with minimal off-white head but good lacing. Berry fruits and malts head a pleasant aroma. Rye and other grians are prominent in the mouth. There’s also autumn fruits and traditional hops, and overall the effect is quite bitter. Finish is somewhat fruity. Thornbridge back to something like their best.

Cask at the Colmore, Birmingham. Poured a clear copper colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is light toffee and floral hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, malt, floral aromatic, light spicy burning hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
