[ As Gotlands Barley Wine ].
ABV: 10.0%. Clear medium to light orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, dried fruit, oak, wood, dried fruit - apricot marmalade, sweet malt - honey. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dried fruit, dried fruit - apricot marmalade, malty, sweet malt, sweet malt - honey, wood, dried fruit tart notes. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming. [20220416]

Mörkt bärnstensfärgad utan dis. Skummet är ganska litet. Söt sirapsdoft med alkohol och målarfärg. Sötklibbig smak med inslag av sirap, kola, ekfat och rödvin. Bra nu, men blir nog ännu bättre med tiden.

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Clear amber, rich firm head. Bready nose with cane sugar and red wine. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Oak and marzipan, some bread and ripe fruit. Peppery warming finish.
