Keg at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice toffee, smoke. Rich flavours of Turkish coffee, dark chocolate, smoke, raisin. Boozy roasty mouthfeel. Yes indeed.

Draft at The Wolf, Birmingham. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, caramel, boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate to strong liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, oily, molasses, light caramel, boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - jet black with a thin tan to head. Nose - tar, molasses and wood. A hint of smoke. Taste - treacle and burnt brown bread. Roasty, leather and charred wood. Palate - medium bodied, dry and roasty. Overall - gnarly but good.

Can at ash's. Pours black, nose is chocolate, liquorice, sugar, toffee, taste is sweet, chewy, sugary, chocolate, roasted.

Panda at home, thanks to Dave, 15/01/22. Black pour with a big old lasting khaki covering. Nose is big roast, charr, dark chocolate chips, spice, molasses, toffee, dates, figs. Taste comprises dark malts, spice, lick of booze, liquorice, chocolate, toffee, fruit cake mix, spice, dates, prunes. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good boosty rise of alcohol. Solid meaty impy stout ... big and ballsy but never too sweet.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Dave. A thick jet black coloured pour with a lasting dark tan head. . Aroma is big dark liquorice, treacle, burnt sugars, charred wood, dark sugars. Flavour is composed of intense dark malts, liquorice, burnt sugars, charred wood, bark, brown sugars, treacle. many layers. Palate is semi sweet, thick, mellow carbonation. Little tangy raspberry in the finish. Really nice. Lingering dark chocolate.
