People love our Peanut Butter Milk Stout, and this time we put a fun twist on our classic. Thomas brewed up a milk stout that is golden in color, a real sensory trip, and loaded it with coffee and chocolate. Then we kicked it up a notch by peanut butterizing (is that a word?) the beer for a real treat. Tom said, “A Peanut Butter Latte, that sounds great!” Perfect to sip on chilled nights and early mornings.

On tap at PreFunk Boise clear bright golden with a thin soapy head. Big sweet malty aroma of peanut butter and lactose sweetness. The sweetness isnt there in the flavors but the big PB notes are. Light and clean otherwise. A successful experiment Id say. Not sure I would ever buy a pint of this again though.

35,5 cl bottle @ Timo A
Aroma has strong coffee and cocoa tones – somewhat unexpected by the pale appearance. Also strong peanut butter. Flavour has peanut butter, biscuits and popcorn. Quite interesting, I’d expect a dark beer by the aroma and flavour. Good stuff, like a liquid chocolate biscuit.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is like baking bread, peanut butter, baking peanut butter cookies--wow. Pours clear golden with a thick off-white head with excellent retention. Taste is sweet, not at all cloying, and very nutty. Tastes like peanut butter cookies, a note of wet stone. I'm not getting any coffee in flavor or aroma. Amazing and delicious.

Sample at the North Park taproom. This beer pours dark bronze with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Coffee, peanut butter and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted nuts, coffee and malt. The finish is roasty peanuts and coffee. Decent overall.

Not bad. The peanut butter was there in a balanced way slightly sweet. I don’t know where they get the latte part out of it.

Bomber from Cap Tap. Pours coppery gold with a white head. Aroma is pretty much peanut butter. Med body. Flavor is pretty much peanut butter. Not sure about the latte. Not really finding coffee, and steamed milk? Those who love the peanuts in beer should seek this out. Not my thing, but it’s rather drinkable. Not exactly dry. Not really bitter. But it suggests some "old" bar candy - but I’m not coming up with the name easily.
