Unser Urhell, der Fuchsberger Bierklassiger, wird durch seine hellgelbe, leuchtende Farbe und seinen schlanken Körper zum Allrounder schlechthin. Clear medium golden colour, regular frothy white head, mostly lasting, good lacing. Aroma is malty, grain, cooked vegetables, hay. Taste is mild, medium sweet and medium to light bitter, malty, grainy. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste is as in taste added by some grass notes, sweetness prevails in finish, decent regular Helles.

Bottle. Clean hold with a large head. Aroma is grainy malt. Flavor is metallic grain on an unpleasant solvent finish. Not sure if it was a bad bottle, it was well within BB date and not flat, just not pleasant.

Bottle. Golden, white head, fine pearling carbonation. Light cookie malt notes, a hint sulphur, herbal hops, a bit salt in the finish. Medium to light chewy body, feels a bit flat. Wasn’t the freshest sample, but overall not so exiting.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, grassy citrus hops, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20110307]

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly sour doughy and grainy malty aroma with notes of herbal and grassy hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Slightly grainy and chalky malty taste with a dry mouthfeel; bitter sweet mildly malty finish with a rounded herbal and slightly grassy hops character. Decent Helles. 12.II.11

Bottle from mein-biershop. Bottle said 4.9%. Poured pale golden with a white head. Aroma is crisp, fresh malty. Very mild in flavor, malt and grassy, quite weak, but incredibly easy to drink. Crisp and enjoyable.
