During the summer of 2020 our friend Christian Nielsen spent plenty of time foraging the grounds of his estate for a cornucopia full of berries. He then decided to give us the opportunity to make a mead from most of those berries. That mead is Mr Nielsen's Cornucopia 2020! This is a dessert mead made with orange blossom honey and wild aronia, bilberries, blackberries, black currants, raspberries and red currants. Sweet, tart and fruity this mead is best enjoyed just below room temperature, with some of your favorite cheeses.

ABV: 13.0%. Clear dark red brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is honey, dark berries as bilberries - blackberries - black currants - raspberries - red currant. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration, honey, dark berries as bilberries - blackberries - black currants - raspberries - red currant, minty notes. Body is medium, texture is creamy - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming. [20220513]

Super sweet but tasty, lovely berries
Taster from Bottle at MBCC 22. Deep reddish brown with little head. Black currants, honey, sweetness. Quite Nice.

Bottle. Dark purple color with no head. Aroma is intense all the berries, honey too though. Taste is thick berries, with aronia definitely playing a major role, but the others are there too. Thick mouthfeel, flat. Good one!
