Past the DLUO, which might explain why I have not found the griottes (cherries) of the Forêt Noire cake. Otherwise, very well executed. Probably very low lactose addition.

Keg at Industry Tap, Sheffield, Yorkshire. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, cherry aroma and taste. Nice enough imperial stout.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep brown to black and a thin tan head. Very cola like. Nose - rich and creamy dark chocolate. Only a hint of something fruity and tart. Taste - tart cherry intermingled with creamy dark chocolate. Palate - creamy and full bodied. Sweet and tart middle and finish. Overall - lovely beer.

Can at James's. Pours black, nose is chocolate, light cherry, roasted, taste is juicy cherry, chocolate, roasted, slightly tart.

Can from Hydrology. Pours dark brown with a red tinge and a thin beige head. Aromas of dark cherry, chocolate, chocolate cake. Taste is quite dry, cakey, dark chocolate and more cherry. Sour cherry.
