A combination of roasted barley and oats provides a malty base. Delicately balanced with the addition of Northern Brewer and Bramling Cross hops, along with a handful of cloves, delivering a gutsy ale with a subtle spicy finish.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Tewkesbury Winter Beer Festival, 1/2/2019. Copper in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Sweet, bready, malts, caramel, some red fruits and a touch of clove in the bitter finish. Good.
