Pours a clear amber colour with a small thin off-white head that settled. The aroma is light, some malts and a hint of hop. A moderately sweet taste, the flavour is all at the back end, sweet malts, caramel and fruit with a hoppy bitterness and a drying finish.

Cask at the briar Rose bingoham. A nut amber coloured pour with a lasting creamy white head. Aroma is semi sweet, cakey malts, bark. Flavour is composed of rich cakey malts, charred cake, dried fruits. Palate is semi sweet, woody bark, creamy, decent cask condition. Ok.

Cask @ Myrddin's, Barmouth. very little NZ hop notes coming through. Distant floral murmurs perhaps but expected more. October 12th 2021: 500ml bottle from the Purple Moose shop in Betws Y Coed. Pours a clear golden amber, small receding white foam head. Indistinct hop aroma. Taste presents a nicely rounded bitter, moderate dose of fragrant hops, some fruity moments with a soft bitterness. Ok.

On tap at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. A bright amber pour with a ring of greyish head, and some gentle carbonation despite a gravity dispense; floral aroma; dry in teh mouth with a big fruity taste, immediately bitter, with some caramel; then a clean herbal bitterness with a touch of spice, and a long fruity finish. Rather good.
