Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Golden-amber with an off-white head. Sweetish start with some floral notes, bubblegum and strawberry jam. More traditional notes of caramel and citrus come through, but it still tastes quite fresh and lively. A little more interesting than your average bitter. Nice one.

Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a clear light copper colour with a thin soapy looking white head. Aromas of toffee, caramel, toasty bread and some fruity notes. Taste has lots more toffee and caramel, bread and biscuits with peppery spice and earthy hops on the lingering dry finish. Malty at first and then a hoppy bitterness kicks in. Medium to full body, fairly low carbonation and oily mouthfeel. Pretty decent traditional Ale.

Thin beige head on an unclear amber coloured body. Fruity, bitter & malt aroma. Medium bodied smooth on the tongue thinning out to a dry clean back. Berries, caramel, grain & light malt tastes with a long bitter finish. Tastes like a 1970's bitter - Excellent.

Clear, deep gold with a frothy / creamy white head and a mellow aroma of grain, maybe some light malt and floral hops going on. Taste is biscuit malt, there's a kick of citrus bitterness and a fruity background, all delivered on a smooth, creamy mouthfeel

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden amber with a thick white head. Aromas are buttery and metallic up front, mellowing into dried apricot and dusty herbs on the taste. That metallic edge lingers in the finish. Didn't really enjoy this.

Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours a golden amber with a large white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma to this one – just some floral hops. In the mouth it starts off sweet and malty before becoming fairly hoppy. Floral hops, gread rolls and sticky dried apricots in the flavours. Finish is somewhat bitter. This is pretty decent.

Cask-conditioned at the Robert Fitzharding (JDW), Bedminster, Bristol 14 February 2022. Amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Hedgerow fruit character, leafy hops, some sweetish, slightly bready, malts and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at Figure of Eight. Clear copper pour, thin, creamy off-white head. Fruity aroma, malty. Taste adds some floral, hand soap flavors to the mildly sweet malts, a nod to the NZ hops. Creamy body
