Classic Maritime Dry Stout is a super smooth and balanced stout proudly made with 100% local ingredients from the Maritime provinces of Canada. It is brewed with barley and oats grown and malted on Prince Edward Island (PEI), with a portion of the malt roasted in-house to achieve a classic toasted dry stout character. The beer is gently hopped with Golding hops grown in New Brunswick, and brewed with the naturally soft water of Nova Scotia at a brewery located in downtown Halifax.

Black pour, with a medium white head. Aroma is softly roasty, hints of coffee and minerals. Silky, soft mouthfeel, with a soft carb. Finish is medium bitter, roasty, with a touch of smoke. An impressive Guinness alternative.

Flight pour at the Oxford St location. Pours black with beige nitro head. Gentle roasted malts on the nose. Flavour has light roasted malts and dark chocolate. Nitro leaving a lingering bitterness that is unpleasant. Not enough depth of flavour or body to be good.

Tap @ the brewery. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, licorice, hops and has a nice dry roasty finish.

Jet black with a decent beige head. Roast, toast and some chocolate. Lots of roast and bitterness, with some chocolate notes.
