Bottle. An unclear dark brown beer with a small light beige head. The aroma has dark dried fruit, roasted malts and coffee hints, with some nuttyness. Some dark chocolate. It's medium bodied and semi-dry, rather softly carbonated, with a decent bitterness. Malty flavor, some prune, nuts (Brazil nut I guess, thx to Idiosynkrasie for the tip), roasted malts and some dark chocolate. Some floral, grassy hints. Hints of toffee too. Lasting malt driven finish. A bit dull this one, but quite complex and tasteful anyway. 240905

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, mahogany colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Nutty, roasty, minimally earthy-spicy, dark malty aroma, notes of Brazil nut, some dark chocolate. Taste is moderately bitter roasty, mildly bitter hoppy, dark malty with subtle residual sweetness, some dark chocolate, dark caramel, a nutty touch, fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of red berries. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Harmonious, balanced, homogeneous - very nice.
