Inspired by Bermondsey bakery @breadamanger ‘s world-class croissant. Infused with toasted almond & double chocolate flavours. Rich, decadent, and unctuous with a sweet, smooth nuttiness this will keep you warm & cosy through these winter nights.

Thick, oily, sweet and boozy. Lots of almond, a bit of roast, milk chocolate. Nice.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 03/03/22. Black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is dark chocolate, nutty tones, dark malts, spice, brown sugar melt, vanilla. The taste pulls off the Pain au Chocolat rather well, almond, chocolate praline, sweet malts, brown sugar melt, vanilla, toffee fudge, dark chocolate chunks. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of booze. Solid pastry affair ... gets the name across well without ever running silly sweet and sips easy for 11%.
