On tap. Pours a clear deep orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light sweet bread note with a hint of caramel and earthiness. Flavor is similar with a light drinkable bread note with a bit of underlying sweetness. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Sweet tea malt aroma. Clear copper with a large tan head, decent lacing. Sweet barley malt, light caramel, vegetal, and mild bitter flavor. Medium body and carbonation.

12 oz. bottle, 5.3% abv. Pours a crystal clear, dark amber color, with an extremely frothy head that abates relatively quickly. Not sure why, but I don’t get anything aroma-wise. Maybe the beer was a little too cold and needed to warm up a bit before it becomes aromatic, or maybe my nose just wasn’t working right. But I got nada. Taste was a little bitter-sweet (a tad more sweet than bitter), and had notes of caramel. I would consider it to be a medium-to-full body beer, with smooth, thick texture, and a somewhat astringent finish. Carbonation was average.
My score on this beer is a bit misleading as I had to give such a low rating on aroma. But to be honest, I don’t have a problem with this beer and would drink it again without hesitation.

120z, 2012 vintage. Enjoyed in a tulip. King of a burnt dark caramelized orange. Smells like a standard pilsener with some spices. Taste is a nice dominating pumpkin wish spices like nutmeg and cloves at the start. Finish is sweet but very fleeting. mild carbonation, light body. Meh.

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a large orange tan head that dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is caramel and roasted malt. Flavor is medium sweet heavy malt body, caramel, toffee, bread. No real bitterness. Moderately full bodied. Tasty and refreshing.

Bottle from Cocktails, Littleborough. Deep copper-amber, clear, with a small head. Has plenty of autumnal character with a light grainy-smoothness in texture and taste, which is fairly tasty.

On tap in a Mexican restauarant in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia 4/11/2011. Deep amber with a slight off-white head. Malty aroma witrh some leafy hops and bread. Flavour had some fruity fruity sweetness, robust malts and dryish finish. Fine.

Bottle. Orangish amber with an off-white head. Modest aroma of caramel, grass, light spices. Sweet with caramel and toast, some nuts and slightly spicy bitterness. A little metallic. Balance is OK but the sweetness is bland.
