On tap at Scotty's in Champaign. Reddish brown appearance with a tan head. Lightly nutty, a touch smoky aroma. Body is a little thin. Caramel and pecans. Ok.

Pour is a clear brown-red with a large white head. Aroma is a nice chocolate that reminds me of chocolate milk. Flavor is not as much of thr chocolate as the aroma let of but its still there. Its more of a bitter bakes chocolate. Finish is dry and maybe a bit of coffee shows up. Not a real big fan of brown ales but this one is pretty solid. It made real nice use of the chocolate malts.
