Taster at the brewery. Pours an unclear, brown color, with a small, beige head. The nose is caramel, earthy hops, plums, apricots, and dried lime. Sweet and syrupy, with an easy bitterness. Light to medium body, with a smooth, flat palate. This is a light and malty bitter. Pretty nice.

On tap @ Station 26 with jcnielsen. Fairly clear, rust orange appearance with an off white head. Chewy caramel, wood, very herbal nose. Twangy, moderately bitter, doughy flavor. Caramel and bread. Pedestrian.

Pint at the brewery - lightly hazy orange - slightly Americanized version of a bitter here in that it is fairly woody and citrusy, lacking the malt-forward character you kind of expect from the style - fairly dry - there is a slight mineral character and earthy malt quality - though it’s surprisingly bitter and not quite to style, with a somewhat watery finish, it’s still a decent beer.
